The What She
Said Project
What She Said is a public listening project collecting anonymous voice notes from women.
There are things women know, think, feel and carry that rarely get said out loud. Not because they’re not worth saying. Because there’s never quite been a safe place to say them. What She Said is a participatory art project built around anonymous voices. Contributors record something true, a thought, a memory, a thing they’ve never told anyone, and it becomes part of an archive. The vision is a physical space. Hundreds of QR codes. You walk in, you scan, you listen. You can leave your own voice if you want to. A gallery of things that usually go unspoken, heard by strangers who might recognise themselves in them.It started through Club Done. It’s growing into something bigger.
About me

About me
Hi I'm AmyI’m not really a one-thing person. This is where all the things live.I make experiences people can actually be part of, scan this, hear that, leave something behind, look twice at something you’ve walked past a hundred times. I want people to have fun in something I’ve made, or feel something they weren’t expecting, or say oh in the way you do when something lands.Right now I’m working on What She Said, a project built around all the things women don’t say out loud. The plan is a space full of anonymous voices. You scan, you listen, you leave your own if you want. A gallery of things that usually go unspoken.I’m also the founder of Club Done, a programme for women who are done waiting to feel ready. This Is Amy Does is the rest of it. It changes. Come back.
